Our wilderness therapy journey begins with a thorough intake of your background, past issues, current issues, and Goals. This foundational step ensures that every aspect of our program is tailored to your unique needs, maximizing the potential for transformative growth.

We do a backpacking expeditions once per month. It’s limited to 8 clients per trip ranging from one to five days, participants engage in physical activity amidst the natural splendor of the wilderness. Research suggests that immersion in nature can alleviate stress, elevate mood, and improve overall well-being, making our outings not just recreational but therapeutic.

At a rate of $275 per day, This covers not only the therapeutic portion of our program, but all the essentials from gear to transportation to food. Our wilderness therapy program is not for everyone. We typically hike 5+ hours per day and sleep outside in shelters we’ve built. Expeditions range from 1-5 days. There is flexibility on dates and locations for who reserve early.

You will work us to plan the route your own journey with topographical maps and compass. This process of self-directed exploration allows for the freedom to make mistakes and the growth that comes from charting and finding one's own way. Participants not only navigate the wilderness but also navigate their inner landscape.

Comprehensive Therapeutic Approach: Each day of our program combines individual therapy sessions, group discussions, Individual homework, and purposeful activities aligned with participants' goals. This multi-faceted approach draws from evidence-based practices to address learning through individual study, group discussion, writing/reading, and physical activity. (Kinetic learners) ensuring a well-rounded therapeutic experience.

As our wilderness therapy exerience draws to a close, emphasis is placed on integrating newfound insights and skills into everyday life. You’ll have ongoing support from our clinical team. ensuring that the benefits of our program endure beyond the wilderness.
FAQs for Walk-thru Therapy

The Cost is $275 per day of retreat. So 1-day trips are $275, 2 days are $550, 3 - $825, 4 days are 1100, and 5 days are 1375. There is a $275 deposit upon scheduling. The remainder (if Applicabie) is due the morning of your retreat, before it starts. This can be paid with debit or credit card. This covers the therapeutic program, gear, transportation, and food. It does not cover clothing.

We strongly recommend no use electronics or cell-phones during the entire time of the walk. Staff will have access to Sat-phone/cellphone and GPS.

Yes! Not too much though. Materials will be given, reviewed, and it’s asked that you journal while you’re here. There will be time for hiking, pondering, other activities, and some for just chilling out! It’s part of what makes Wilderness Therapy so effective,

Retreats Start early. 8-9 AM, Most clients prefer to start their journey on Thursday or Friday. If you can’t take time off then you can do a weekend trip.

Yup, it’s not enough to have one great experience and never revisit it. So we require you to be getting support somewhere. Preferably with us, but so long as you’re working with someone and we can coordinate with them/you to offer ongoing support- then we’re good.
